IDA & JAY

Welcome! I'm Cherrish, the owner and designer of Ida & Jay! I have been making jewelry for ten years now. Around three years ago, I decided I wanted to metalsmith. So i did what everyone does when they want to learn something new, watched a ton of youtube videos and ordered all the tools to do it myself! 

I wanted to name by business after something that had meaning. Ida and Jay are my late grandparents. My grandmother was a woman who loved jewelry, you'd never catch her without her accessories. My grandfather was a trader, who loved to piddle in his garage. I spent many hours watching him create at his workbenches. They were some of the kindest people, who accepted all into their home, loving those around them well. When you buy from me I hope you can see the love and care that goes into each piece, like the love and care they gave to me.
